Michelle has always had an interest in photography, but it wasn't until her husband gave her a digital camera for Christmas in 2003 that her interest was brought into focus as a serious pursuit.

After having her first child at 42, she was fortunate enough to leave the business world and become a full-time mom. She has developed a profound love for wildlife photography, and many of her most memorable shots were captured in her own backyard.

Entirely self-taught, she now uses a Canon 5D Digital SLR. She is a member of the Brentwood Camera Club, Society of Nashville's Artistic Photographers (SNAP) and a board member of the Nashville Photography Club.

Her work has been exhibited at Chromatics, Cheekwood's Botanical Gardens, Mercy Lounge, Chaffins Barn Dinner Theater, Untitled, Green Hills Library, Borders Books, and the Plowhaus Artists' Cooperative. Her images have been published in numerous news publications, magazines and Town Planner calendars. She also has a permanent display at Blacklion of Opry Mills and Borders Books of Brentwood.
